Pubs and Restaurants

From the North End to the South End Boston has many varied establishments where one can eat and drink. In the mood for some ‘chowdah’ as the locals would say? How about a beer in a centuries-old pub in the Haymarket and nearby Quincy Market, home to many Irish pubs.Or enjoy a meal and a glass of wine sitting at an outdoor café on a beautiful summer’s evening while watching the city pass you by. Boston has it all from the many high-end dining and drinking establishments throughout the city to the historic pubs and sports bars around the sporting venues.

Whether you are in the Beacon Hill and Back Bay areas, or along the Waterfront there are many restaurants from which to choose, including the Seaport district where new restaurants have recently opened up. Before or after a Celtics or Bruins game gather in the sports bars near North Station; as well as the pubs and sports bars in the Fenway area. All of the neighborhoods, including Downtown boast outdoor patios for al fresco eating. Lastly take the MBTA boat to Charlestown for a historic tour of the Navy Yard and the USS Constitution, followed by a meal.
